SMS & Text Campaigns

Texts get read. We make sure yours get results.

SMS has the highest open rates of any channel in politics. We run compliant, well-timed text programs for voter contact, event turnout, and get-out-the-vote.

What we run

Broadcast texting for announcements, ballot reminders, and GOTV. Peer-to-peer texting for volunteer-driven voter contact and conversations. Event sequences that fill rooms — save-the-date, reminder, day-of logistics.

In Washington's vote-by-mail system, timing is everything: we sequence messages around ballot drop, the return curve, and election day.

Compliance first

Text messaging is the most heavily regulated channel in campaigning. We manage opt-in records, honor opt-outs immediately, register campaigns properly with carriers (10DLC), and keep your program inside TCPA and carrier rules — so your campaign never becomes the story.

Measured like everything else

Every text program gets delivery, response, and conversion tracking. You'll know what a text costs per voter reached and per action taken — and we adjust the program based on what the data says.

Frequently asked questions

Is texting voters legal?

Yes, when done correctly — proper consent handling, carrier registration, and opt-out compliance. That's exactly the part we manage.

How much does SMS cost?

Costs scale with volume — typically a few cents per message plus platform fees. We'll size a program to your budget in the planning phase.

Where do the phone numbers come from?

Your own supporter and volunteer lists, plus voter file phone matching where permitted. We verify numbers before sending and manage consent records for every contact.

What if a voter replies to a text?

Replies are handled — opt-outs are processed immediately and automatically, questions get routed to your team or answered from an approved script, and everything is logged.

How fast can a text program launch?

Carrier registration (10DLC) is the long pole — typically one to three weeks for approval. Once registered, individual sends can go out same-day.

Can you text on election day?

Yes — day-of GOTV texts are among the highest-impact sends in the program. We pre-stage them so timing, targeting, and compliance are locked before the day starts.
